La sanita’ pubblica diventa sempre piu’ dispendiosa. Un telegiornale trasmesso il primo novembre ricorda a tutti i cittadini la soluzione adottata dal governo italiano nel 2006: il due novembre, tutti coloro
ritenuti “senza speranza” verranno staccati dalle macchine di sopravvivenza e cesseranno di esistere.
Dopo questa notizia vengono trasmesse alcune interviste ai prossimi “prescelti”.
