Anno 2042.
Un ragazzo viene sorpreso a duplicare un cd audio. Secondo la nuova legge sul copyright viene condannato a morte e la sua spina dorsale, completa di una parte di cervello, viene consegnata all’autore dell’opera che ne diventa automaticamente il proprietario.
Quest’ultimo, avendo conosciuto degli studi che dimostrano quanto il midollo spinale sia un conduttore di suono perfetto, fa rivestire di rame la colonna vertebrale, fa inserire quattro connettori RCA e crea il piu’ potente cavo audio della storia.
Nel frattempo dei sistemi di sopravvivenza mantengono in vita la porzione di cervello; in questo modo il pirata viene trasformato in un amplificatore umano, cosciente per l’eternita’ della sua colpa.

Year 2042.
A boy is caught duplicating an audio cd. According to the new copyright law, he is sentenced to death and his backbone, complete with part of the brain, is handed over to the author of the work who automatically becomes the owner.
The latter, having known studies that show how the spinal cord is a perfect conductor of sound, has the spine coated with copper, has four RCA connectors inserted and creates the most powerful audio cable in history.
Meanwhile, survival systems keep the brain portion alive; in this way the pirate is transformed into a human amplifier, conscious for eternity of his guilt.
