Uno dei metodi di controllo più utilizzato è la divisione in gruppi di appartenenza, in antagonismo gli uni contro gli altri. La parola d'ordine è "odio", ogni gruppo deve odiare l'altro, perchè l'unione del popolo fa paura al potere. La coscienza della propria individualità diventa il gradino essenziale per l'unione. Per questo ci viene fatto credere che se non apparteniamo ad un gruppo, non valiamo nulla. L'individuo che si nega in favore della massa, questo è ciò che il potere vuole.

One of the most used methods of control is the division into groups of belonging, in antagonism against each other. The watchword is "hate", each group must hate the other, because the union of the people scares the power. The awareness of one's own individuality becomes the essential step for union. This is why we are led to believe that if we do not belong to a group, we are worth nothing. The individual who denies himself in favor of the mass, this is what power wants.
