Canzone ispirata da una mia amica che lavora in una grossa catena in un centro commerciale. Otto ore di duro lavoro e, se otto ore vi sembrano poche, provate voi a lavorare (cit. Alberto Camerini).
Le commesse sono costrette a lavorare sotto il controllo di telecamere disseminate nel negozio e controllate da un supervisore. Devono inoltre essere costantemente in contatto radiofonico con esso. Il capo, controlla quello che fanno e, zummando, può addirittura leggere il labbiale per sapere cosa stanno dicendo al cliente di turno. Se la cosa non gli aggrada, richiama immediatamente all'ordine la commessa, mettendola costantemente sotto pressione. In quelle otto ore, il lavoratore non è più padrone di se stesso, ma diventa proprietà del marchio.

The sales assistants are forced to work under the control of cameras scattered throughout the store and monitored by a supervisor. They must also be in constant radio contact with it. The boss monitors what they do and, by zooming in, can even read their lips to find out what they are saying to the customer on duty. If he doesn't like it, he immediately calls the saleswoman to order, constantly putting her under pressure. In those eight hours, the worker is no longer his own master, but becomes the property of the brand.
